It's hard to believe I have been gone for over a year now. Haven't really went any where just haven't had time to keep my blog updated. But I am now a "hi-speed redneck" lol. We finally moved out of the dial up world and into the fast lane. Although I would like for things to slow down. I still have the farm, we have lost some old friends and got a few new ones. Remember Bo?(The one on the left) He now has his first girlfriend, Dixie. We just got her a few months ago and they are the best of friends.

I am still in the turkey business, this is Bob. I have learned alot of new lessons in raising turkeys, first of all they are nosey and in to more than any 2 year old could ever imagine. I also have 2 hens and they are currently setting. I have 5 new poults that hatched last week, but the weather turned wet so we brought them inside and their mom went on the nest with the other hen.

The cows are all fat and sassy. I had just put out a new salt block and it was like kids in a candy store. I have 10 calves on the ground most were born in February than a few after that. I have 2 more to go but they won't come to fall.
Pasture is looking great and we started cutting hay last week. This is going to be a whole new adventure for me. My dad has become ill and I have had to take over with running his equipment. He is still able to get out but can't be in the sun for long periods of time, just long enough to tell me what I'm doing wrong. LOL He was really surprised when I ran his mower and baler last week. He has given me clearance to hit the big field this weekend weather permitting so stay tuned for those updates, it could get real interesting.
I am still working a 40 hour week when I can and keeping up with the girls, so now you know where I have been. I hope I can keep you updated and would love to hear from some of my old friends. Hope you haven't forgot about me.
